Before you can repair concrete garage floor problems, examine the nature of the problem closely.  Are there small cracks that can just be patched and filled?  Or are there larger cracks due to settling or water runoff?  The majority of cracks in a garage floor will be relatively minor, assuming the floor was poured correctly in the first place.  You can probably fix those cracks quite easily using concrete patching mixture from your local home store.  If there is more of a hole in the concrete floor you can probably still use a patching mixture if you get a formula that is made for larger patch areas.

Oil, grease and other stains are common problems found on concrete garage floors, and these can generally be repaired as well.  There are special solvents available to cut through and remove oil and grease from the concrete.  You can also apply a coat of garage floor paint to the entire floor and then top it off with a sealer.  This will take care of stains in the concrete and provide better protection to ward off oil and stains in the future.  As you can see, it is quite simple to repair concrete garage floor problems when you evaluate the problem carefully and get the right materials for the job.
